Elisabeth Kissling

Elisabeth Kissling

Elisabeth Kissling was called to assist with Greg’s Mission after her husband’s battle with a large acoustic neuroma (tumor) in 2012. She is happy to report that her husband’s tumor was successfully removed, but she understands the importance of support and education for individuals and families dealing with a brain tumor diagnosis.

Elisabeth has a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (with a specialty in mental health counseling) from the University of Iowa, and bachelor's degrees in both Music and Psychology from Coe College. She brings to Greg’s Mission 6+ years of crisis counseling experience and 6+ years nonprofit marketing and fundraising experience. Along with her work with Greg’s Mission, Elisabeth is currently employed as the Development and Marketing Director with Foundation 2 and as a pianist at Von Maur.

Elisabeth is also on the Advisory Board for the Marion Arts Festival, the current President of Leaders in Volunteerism, a Show You Care/A+ for Education Judge, and a “Lunch Buddy” with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Elisabeth is married to Josh Kissling and has a 4 year old son named Liam and a rescued yellow lab mix pup named Emma. She and her family reside in Marion, Iowa.
